The students in Mrs Strickland and Mrs Tadewaldt-Wren's HaSS classes and Mr Jaeckel's T&E class learned to utilize Keynote to create interactive presentations about Ancient Civilisations, Medieval History and A Famous Person respectively. They investigated the hundreds of icons within the Keynote app to help build visualizations of the concepts being presented and used learned to use Google Advanced Search for obtaining copyright free images.

They then learned to animate individual elements and groups of them. A particularly powerful animation for outlining concepts they learned was the 'Magic Move' transition between slides. The students used the Presenter View to be able to develop a script for their presentation and practice delivering it (without realising they were writing!). Finally, they learned how to create a link to a website, email address or slide within their presentation to be able to create an interactive bibliography and/or Q and A to ensure they acknowledged all sources of their research and were able to gain feedback from their audience.
